Following the release of her long awaited sophomore album ‘Mother Of Gloom’, Wellington alt-folk artist Emily Fairlight will be heading out on NZ tour.

The album was recorded in Austin Texas with Doug Walseth of The Cat’s Eye studio and mixed in Lyttelton by Ben Edwards at The Sitting Room. Featuring the single ‘The Escape’, this album has piqued the interest of many including Muzic.net.nz and The 13th Floor.

It’s a hauntingly beautiful composition that sinks into you with its heartfelt delivery and writing.

This May, dream-folk band French for Rabbits are touring to some pocket-sized venues to share their ethereal music in pin-drop environments.

Last the year the band toured Europe, released their well-received second album ‘The Weight of Melted Snow’ in New Zealand, was handpicked to open for Lorde and topped 11 million listens on Spotify.

The Wellington shows will be held at The Surgery, the beautiful recording studio of sound engineer Lee Prebble. A rare chance to visit the space and experience their music up close. Limited to 20 tickets only, so be in quick. No door sales.
